KL5155: Statements: Charles Schlueter Trumpet Soloist with Berkshire Chamber Orchestra

Statements: Charles Schlueter Trumpet Soloist with Berkshire Chamber Orchestra

Statements seems an appropriate title for this CD. It is the title of the featured work by Albert Tiberio. As well, "Statements" are a mode of communication. We express ourselves to others with "Statements" to declarations that convey information. This CD includes the "World Premiere" recordings of Odyssey, On the Cusp, and Statements. This CD also includes Quiet City by Copland, Prayer of Saint Gregory by Hovhaness. Ronald Feldman, the conducter of this CD, is twice the winner of the American Symphony League award for Adventuresome programming of Contemporary Music.
